What can we achieve when we are allowed to just be?
The following series of photographs was created in collaboration with photographer Ellie Nguyen, (also known as 3arlyJuly) as a byproduct of ongoing conversations about the roles masculine and feminine energy, or lack thereof plays in our lives. The abstract installation in the background is a lively depiction of a dragon in flight, whose strength juxtaposes the perceived delicate nature of the flowers which crown the models. All elements (dragon and flowers, strength and delicacy, head and heart, masculine and feminine) when combined and accepted represent the wholeness that encourages us all to just be as we are.
